Things change, people change. That's an unfortunate fact. Still, it's rather sad to think of what was and what in fact is now, even though what "is" might be better than what "was" in the first place.
Maybe it's the nostalgic song I'm listening to by Skillet that's making me think about my past, but do you not agree that it's sometimes an upsetting fact how friends change? And you come to certain point were you act as if neither one nor the other ever existed.. not very pleasant.
Even though many argue that change is good and I do agree with that since I am not at all a conservative person. What I'm not too keen on is the way feelings and actions change between 2 people who used to care about each other and suddenly everything falls apart. Time is an enemy as much as it might be a friend... (not to wrinkles of course)
Everything changes really, for example: the movie "Dirty Dancing" transformed into that of "Step up", the beautiful curves of Marylin Monroe became stale and beauty is now viewed from a catwalk point of view, a fat Kelly Osbourne became a size 2 Kelly, a once dominant and immortal-seeming Mintoff is now on his death bed.. and so on. It's part of life.
C'est la vie mon lovelies. Get over it Ellie dear.
Stay tuned
